Modern Leather Folio was designed specifically for the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th Generation). It is also compatible with previous models of the 12.9” iPad Pro (4th generation and 3rd generation). 6th Gen iPad Pro can also fit in but there is a slight speaker port misalignment with 6th gen, but won’t drastically impact speaker functionality.

No, the magnets in Modern Leather Folio do not interfere with the functionality of the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro was designed by Apple to interact with magnetic features in its cases. For example, the smart wake and sleep functionality is achieved by the specific placement of magnets in the folio cover.
Our iPad cases are designed with premium leather that will scuff and mark. If you always want a perfect finish, this is not the case for you. But, if you are after the perfect authentic leather patina, this is absolutely the case for you.
The Horween leather used in our cases is made in the traditional style dating back to 1905. Most leathers use synthetic tanning chemicals, synthetic dyes, spray paints and spray sealants to make a "perfect" surface. We don't think modern leathers are perfect. After so many synthetic treatments, it is hardly leather at all. We love real, old style American leather.

There are 81 strategically placed rare-earth neodymium magnets throughout Modern Leather Folio. With these powerful, yet compact magnets, the entire folio cover is able to securely attach to both the front and back of the case, fold into kickstand mode, and effortlessly awaken or put iPad Pro to sleep.
